Originally raised in Upstate New York, LaToya moved to L.A. from Chicago directly after winning NBC's best actress award at the American Black Film Festival. She has earned a BFA in theater at Buffalo State College, MFA in acting at the University of South Carolina, and worked as an acting intern at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater.
Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, she booked her first recurring guest star on NBC’s Days of Our Lives as well as a National Wendy's Commercial. Most recently, you can catch her in NBC's, Good Girls, and in a Nationally running Amica commercial.
In her spare time, she is social media influencer with a Youtube channel dedicated to how-to natural haircare, fashion, and acting life vlogs. Her bubbly personality has garnered over 8.9 million views and over 103k subscribers.
